Gorsty lake is a mature natural water which has a good head of double-figure fish. The specimen pool is a smaller but deeper lake. It is stocked and now has over 200 carp averaging from 7Lbs up to 24Lbs.
Our main pool and the specimen pool are renowned for big carp and we cater for both match fishermen and pleasure anglers alike.
The main pool is suitable for all, as there is a roadway access down one side of the lake and there is a gentle slope down to the waters edge. The main lake has a variety of smaller species including bream up to 4lbs, crucians, tench, roach and rudd, and perch and of course carp up to 20lb plus.
